Sarvi Brent was appointed to the board in January 2024 by the Province of British Columbia.

Sarvi has worked in the area of teacher regulation for more than a decade. She is currently the executive director of the Teacher Regulation Branch at the Ministry of Education and Childcare. She is also the Minister’s representative on the BC Teachers’ Council.

Previously, Sarvi worked in administrative law and regulation at WorkSafeBC.

Sarvi holds a law degree from the University of British Columbia.
